Our purpose here in India is to complete a 4-month internship with a local, amazing non-profit organization called Destiny Reflection.
Founded in 2007, Destiny Reflection works to end human trafficking and slavery by providing education and employment opportunities for vulnerable women. Those who have been victims of trafficking, forced sexual slavery and/or are generally at risk of sexual exploitation are empowered by Destiny's skills and training programs that enable them to become self-sufficient and goal-oriented; opening up a new world of opportunity as they pursue fair and dignified employment in their futures.
Destiny Reflection is a locally founded organization that stays true to its' community and purpose, and deeply values the unique individuals that they train and employ, all the while creating beautiful, ethically made products. In our eyes, Destiny Reflection tells a story of the power of unyielding determination and teamwork.
